Met Ball. Pt 1 - McQueen
The Annual Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute gala took place in New York last night. Pinnacle people in the industry attend wearing gowns that are beyond beautiful. Couture and vintage fashion-house pieces are top choices for the elite. This years event was a celebration of a new exhibit Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. To add to the excitement this past week would have been the anticipation of Kate Middleton's McQueen wedding dress. It was no surprise to see a large amount of the deceased designer's fans paying homage to him and his label.

Rug Envy......
As lovers all of things lace, crochet and doily-like we have been coveting a patterned textured rug for our studio. After some initial research these little patterned islands really took our fancy. Modern day chintz is very much to our liking.

Swimwear
After joining a gym and losing some weight I am very excitied about buying swimsuits this year. I don't go on holiday until July but I can get excited can't I? Here are some pieces I will be coveting.

Brighton film maker and photographer Emmerson takes gorgeous photos of the decrepit West Pier and Brighton's Seafront. He has a real talent for capturing the mood. Especially like the dog on the snowy beach.

Obsession....Debi Mazar
I know we have blogged about her before but we are utterly obsessed (and have been for a long time) with Debi Mazar. As Sandy in 'Goodfellas', Spice in 'Batman Forever' or our most recent favourite Shauna in 'Entourage' she plays the sharp-tongued, New York hard-ass perfectly (amongst other things). We recommend that you Youtube the Tuscan Gun, Debi and her husband make some seriously yummy Italian food. And those eyes....its all about the eyes. And that hair.......and her clothes...... basically we ♡ her....A LOT
