These beautiful portraits are by Oakland based artist Serena Cole, who works out of a studio in her apartment. Her work blurs the fine line between art and fashion. Her elegant subjects are often dressed in magnificent headdresses and splendour. We just adore her.

A recent viewing of Scarface made us fall in love with Michelle Pfeiffer's characters sharp early 80's look. From the perfect graduated long bob to the negligee dresses all in front of a perfect Miami backdrop. We ♡ it.

At first glance these pieces of toast don't look like anything special. However, when you realise that they are in fact embroidered it makes them a lot more interesting. Judith Klausner's work is incredible. We are particularly fond of the egg.

WowHaus

Completely obsessed with this website. It gives a real insight into living in British 1960's and 70's houses. Most have been sympathetically restored to their former glory and are beautifully refurbished. It definitely made us rethink those suburban Cul-de-sac homes that we may have considered a little dated.
